My name is Dr. Oroszné Pásztor Teréz. I have a qualification as a horse riding guide and equestrian sports coach. I have been a horse lover since I was a child, but I only had the opportunity to start riding when I was a teenager. From then on, my desire for knowledge on the subject was unyielding. I believe that mastering things professionally is only possible if one has a wide field of vision, dares to try new things, is humble enough to learn from others, and does not regret the time and energy for all this. That is why I have ridden and worked in many parts of the country as an instructor, rider and workrider. With the help of my husband and the experience I gained, we created our family-run, constantly evolving riding school, which we are now opening to the general public.

Our goal is to create a place where people can get rid of the burdens of everyday life, they do not come to ride on a treadmill, but spend time with us before and after riding. Riders have the opportunity to get to know each other. We also want to give space to the ideas of the riders in implementation. Of course within a reasonable and safe framework :)

Horse riding education

In the Varázsvölgy Lovasudvar regardless of gender and age, from beginner to advanced level it is possible to learn to ride, master the theory and practice of riding.

Our riding school is open to the public all year round and at any time of the day!

Equestrian education is recommended for those who want to master this fantastic sport or just want to try it out.

Riding is a great pastime because it refreshes body and soul at the same time. It also has a number of positive effects on the personality of the rider, with which we can develop our self-knowledge unnoticed. It is a great opportunity for both introverted and extroverted because it can be pursued individually or as a team. At the same time, it provides immersion in the pockets of our own soul and helps to open up to social relationships.

In each case, we adapt our teaching methods, the structure of the lessons, to a theme and to the abilities and goals of our students; thereby providing them with personalized, well-structured, interesting and enjoyable learning. During the riding lessons we get to know the theory of riding, the behavior of the horse.
In our riding school, the theme of the learning process is followed by all our instructors, thus ensuring that if an instructor drops out of work, the replacement can provide the same level of service.

What is needed:

Closed shoes, long comfortable pants.

The riding helmet and spine protector is provided by the riding school!

Cancellations can be made 24 hours in advance, but if this is not done, the fee will be charged as we do not allow anyone else to check in by this time.

Horseback walking

During the walk, the rider sits on the horse and the instructor leads the animal. It is primarily recommended for those who are still not familiar with the animal or for small children.
Children are welcome to ride from the age of two. In order to ensure the proper physical development of the children, we use the so-called voltizs-harness / equestrian gymnastics belt, which contributes to the development of a more stable seat for the rider, increases the feeling of safety on the horse back, and allows the acquisition of several forms of movement. Of course, we also provide equestrian harness for our adult riders on request!

During the walk we leave the area of the riding school and we visit the nearby forest and field, thanks to the horse the wildlife in the area is friendlier, so we usually meet deer, pheasants and rabbits.

Riding on the leash

Beginners are taught on the leash with voltizs harness or in english saddle.

During the on leash training, the riding instructor stands in the middle, with the horse moving around a long leash while the rider is sitting on the horses back. The rider performs various balance exercises and tunes to control the horse. During the on leash training, the horse is guided by the instructor. This way, the rider can concentrate on the correct posture, regular sitting, developing balance, and at the same time getting to know the horse.

For the first on leash training, we use a voltizs harness, which is beneficial to the rider in several ways. Mainly because there are two well-attached handrails on the strap to help keep the novice rider in balance, and there is only one sponge between the rider and the horse, so it’s closer to the horse, making it feel better in motion. Thanks to the Voltizs harness, children can start riding from the age of two with complete safety.

If the rider is able to maintain his balance in three modes of movement without holding on, he will continue to study in an English saddle.

The rider can continue her studies in another paddock if mastered the three gaits; walk, trot and gallop.

Individual riding lessons

If a rider on the leash has mastered all three gaits and is able to pay attention to more than just herself, then it’s time for individual riding lessons. Individual riding education takes place in the first round in my large circle and then in the rectangle.

The rider learns the ability to command the horse correctly in the large circle.

The rider in the rectangle learns the order and way of using the track, masters the execution of riding figures, the ability to give the right commands. The rider takes individual lessons until she can stably start and stop the horse in three gaits. There is no place for the so-called "train" in our riding school, where the horses run in a row, one after the other. In order for a rider to have proper knowledge, he does not always ride the same horse. The more horses the rider sits on, the greater her ability to adapt to the horses will be.

Riding in class

If a rider has mastered all three gaits in the large circle and is able to pay attention to more than just herself and his horse, then it’s time for individual freestyle or classroom riding. In the class, riding takes place on a square-fenced track. Riding in class is complex because here the rider has to pay attention not only to his own horse but also to the other horses. In the course of education, we strive to work independently, to understand why command is given, to understand the behavior of the horse, and thus to learn conscious riding.

Cross-country riding

We recommend cross-country riding for our advanced riders. This activity is the most refreshing way to relax outdoors. Anyone who has been off-road will all agree that off-road riding is a great way to relax. The beauty of the landscape, the fresh air, the company of our horse and our friends will help you get out of everyday life.

Riders have the opportunity to take shorter or longer riding routes.

Cross-country riding is always done with a prepared riding guide.
